My ballet teachers are on holiday until Mid-January, though, so I've decided that in the meanwhile, I'll use ballet-centered DVDs as a way to supplement my love and need to dance and a way to slowly get my stamina and strength up. Given the first thirty, forty was all stretching the calves, no bending, I wasn't ready to start jumping. There was a strange part involving having the working leg in attitude and then bringing the thigh in, then up and down.

All of this was very slowly, particularly when it came to the developpes.

However, the barre section is very good for building up strength in your legs and abdominal muscles. It was good to actually start moving. I've finally managed to regain some of my energy and have actually started to feel as though I could cope balle ballet classes again.

In this section there was also some hip openers for the splits. They were just standard, small jumps from first and second, and then changements in fifth. I wasn't quite sure what I was meant to be doing, and it's hard to describe. After my legs loosened up, I really got into it. A part I wasn't expecting was attitudes en cloche. I bought a handful of DVDs yesterday. Most of the DVD involved using a chair as a barre, though there was a small petite allegro section, as well as a floor barre section. I also figure that I still get exhausted to easily that it'll bzllet I'll be in the safety of condditioning own home, so if I suddenly find a need to nap it happensI can do it, and it also means I won't be worried about driving home when my body is ready to flop.

I wound up in hospital and for about two months following, I was very weak and all my energy was sapped. A quick look on Google tells us that she is also a celebrity fitness trainer, and that she is also a yoga instructor, which I could tell easily from the DVD. The workout is 52 minutes long, so it's fairly short for me as I'm used to minute ballet classes.

Ultimately, I find this DVD to be good for a beginner or someone starting out again as it's very simple and easy, though it does assume you already hold some strength and some minor flexibility. I don't want to completely fall on my face because my strength is gone.
